Ask me what I love, what I am passionate about, what I am flat out amazing at doing and I will tell you (in no certain order): design, puns, creating brand campaigns that people remember, encouraging creative teams to think outside the box, or better yet, inspiring them to question... “What box?”
A Creative Director is a very important and influential role within any growing corporate structure. So, why me? First of all, my attached portfolio speaks volumes about my process and success with collaborative problem-solving, graphic story-telling, and strategic risk-taking. It also showcases some of the cool brands (big and small) that I've worked/played with - Adobe, bareMinerals, British Airways, CamelBak, Chipotle, Cisco, DotGreen, LeapFrog, Levi's, Musco Olives, Nestle, Nike, Nickelodeon, Noah's, NVIDIA, Peet’s, Specialty’s, 24 Hour Fitness, and Quiznos. But when hiring, there is that certain something that can't just be viewed, clicked on, or even downloaded; it needs to be felt, perceived, experienced. That is the concept of "fit".
I have over 15 years of experience ranging from in-house to agency and miniscule to mammoth. I have managed teams of 6 and teams of 36, resulting in award-winning creative in both scenarios. Sure, I love to catch a stray pixel, but what I really excel at is 10,000 foot innovative ideas, brand strategy, and leading creative teams to glory when faced with the real life extremes of deadlines and budgets.
